Q: Where can I find the nutritional information for tgi fridays?
I can’t find the nutritional info anywhere. Im looking for the grilled buffalo chicken sandwich in particular.

A: You should be able to write them and get a menu sent out to you with all information.

Sometimes you have to think if you really want to know the answer to the question. I don’t know how low fat or healthy their food might be.

Q: where can i find nutritional information about red robin foods?

Q: Where can I find nutritional information for raw ingredients?
It’s easy to find information on meals from restaurants, and pre-packaged meals and such… but where can I find information on raw ingredients?

Example: Chicken wings. If you get them at Buffalo Wild Wings, or Wing Stop, or Wing Zone… whatever.. They’re fried… and if you look for nutritional info for chicken wings online, you find info on fried chicken wings… But what if I grill them at home? It HAS TO be healthier than if I bought them fried… But by how much?

So I’d like to know of a resource that tells me facts about raw ingredients… so when I put something together myself I can do some addition and know the facts of what I made.

Q: Nutrition information for Jack Astor’s Chopstick Chicken Salad?
Does anyone have any idea how many calories are in Jack Astor’s Chopstick Chicken Salad?

I’m watching my caloric intake and am not able to find anything online that give the nutritional information.

Any help is VERY much appreciated. : )

THANK YOU

A: They don’t list that salad specifically, but maybe you can compare w/their other salads.

If there’s more stuff on the chopstick one (fried noodles, breaded or marinated/glazed chicken), it’ll be more.
And if it’s a mayo-based chicken salad in the proper sense, fuggeddabowtit.

Q: What is the nutritional value of the white bone?
You know, the little white part that’s at the end of a leg on a chicken… does anyone know any nutritional information about them?

A: That’s Cartilage. There’s no nutritional value for it.

Q: Nutritional Information for Pizza?
Does anyone know how many calories and fat are in an 8″ deep dish pizza……how about one that is an 8″ deep dish chicken alfrredo pizza?
Or does anyone know approximately how many calories are just in the dough for an 8″ deep dish?

A: Can’t get exact unless I know where it came from.

A close estimate would be:
1700 calories
84 grams of fat

I would invest in a heart defibrillator!

Q: Does anyone know where I can get nutritional information for….?
…..Safeway Oriental deli stuff?

I need nutritional information for their stuff like Orange Chicken, Sesame Chicken, and their Chow Mein. And it HAS to be SAFEWAY’S information because I know everyone’s is different. I just need to know where to find the Safeway information.
I don’t mean Safeway BRAND items. I need the nutritional information for stuff made at the deli. Maybe not all Safeways have the Oriental deli, but mine does and I can get (separately) Orange Chicken, Sesame Chicken, and Chicken Chow Mein. The links provided up to this point did not give me what I needed, but thanks for trying.

Q: How many calories are in a cup of General Tso’s Chicken?
I’m ordering it from a random Chinese food restaurant, and there is no real way to check the nutritional information for it. So I was just wondering if anybody had a rough estimate of how much calories would be in a cup of this sticky chicken goodness. Thanks.

A: It depends on the ingredients since they vary from different restaurants. There’s approximately 300 calories in one cup.

Q: Recipes with no nutritional info on them?
How do I know what the nutritional information for a recipe is if it is not listed in like a cookbook or on the back of a brand name product such as say chicken parmesan, ragu style? And also how do I determine the serving sizes for each recipe? Examples pIease. Like is it 1/2 cup for each person per serving or 3/4 cup, etc..? I am trying to lose weight on a 30 fat gram a day diet. My mother is a nurse and she said go by this. It has worked very well in the past. Thanks! =)

A: The older cookbooks did not have this information in their recipes. I think your best bet is to get a more up-dated cookbook that has the measurements and nutritional values. As for the frozen foods, unless they are specifically for diets, they don’t give gram weight. However, most of them do indicate the number of servings per package. If in doubt, consult a dietician.

Q: Does this Nutritional Information sound correct?
I’d like to know if this Nutritional Information sounds about right? I’m watching every calorie at the moment, but can’t resist my weekly treat!

Onion Bhaji: 2.95 calories per gram
Chicken Bjuna: 1.32 calories per gram
Chips: 2.53 calories per gram
Saagaloo: 0.74 calories per gram
Naan: 2.69 calories per gram
Pilau Rice 1.88 calories per gram

I’m not that worried how much it totals to overall, just whether I am counting the calories of the actual foods correctly. I’ve lost 8 and half stone, so I’m doing something right, thanks for your help in advance.

A: Hello, well done on losing weight! Calculating calories does depend on how the food has been made but you are in the right area with your calculations. Here is a really good calorie counter, its free and full of information. There is plenty of data on yummy Indian food.

The following books are really good too. I use them for low fat Indian recipie ideas.

Q: Where can I get nutritional information about dog/cat food?
Between the new kinds pet foods that are customized to be like people food (ex. canned dog food with beef tenderloin, cat food meant to be like chicken florentine), and the awful state of our economy causing people to change their diet budget, I’ve decided to do my nutrition report on the positive and negative effects of animal food on people. Sure, its gross, but we all know that there are plenty of people looking at their dwindling checks and eyeing Rover’s plate with economic envy, and the health risks of this need to be investigated.

Unfortunately, I’ve run into a road block regarding the way nutritional facts are given on animal food bags. Our information that is listed as Calorie, Fat, Carbs, Vitamins, etc.; animal food is listed as Minimum or Maximum Percentage of Crude Fat, Protein, etc.

Does anyone know of any sites that will list these ridiculously cuisine-inspired foods in standard human nutritional facts?

And sorry about posting multiple places, but I wanted to get a variety of answers.

A: Most higher-end pet foods (California Natural, Evo, Innova, Orijen, etc.) will have all of that information on the package. Many lower-end pet foods (Iams, Mighty Dog, Whiskas, etc.) have that information on the packages, but many don’t. You might try company websites, since often they will supply more detailed information for curious customers.

For some examples, here’s the Whiskas site with nutritional information about the Tuna Entree pouch food: http://www.whiskas.com/meal_time/purrfectly_fish/pf_tuna.aspx

If you don’t want to buy a container of each type of pet food you’d like to examine, go to the store and write down the brands and flavors of the foods you’d like to check and then Google the brand name. They’ll almost always have all of that information on their websites, and if it’s not listed, they’ll likely have a customer support number you can call to get that information.

You won’t find ANY of that information in human standards, since what your dog needs, nutritionally, is very very different than what you or I need. It’s more important to get a good protein/fiber balance than specific nutrient information, since dogs don’t really need a specific supply of Vitamin C the way that we do, for example–they need fat and iron. Cats, especially, eat extremely high protein diets and so need foods that have a higher ratio of protein to fiber than dogs do.

It might be a good idea to hit up a specialty pet store, something that sells higher-end foods like Orijen and Innova. The employees there will probably have a better idea of specifics to look for than someone at a large chain store (I’ve worked in both kinds, so I should know!)

If you have any other questions about specific pet nutritional needs and what the pet food terminology breaks down as, there’s a link for emailing me in my profile.

Q: I am looking for Nutritional information for Pizza Inn pizza.?
Specifically the buffalo chicken pizza and the veggie pizza. I have searched google, thedailyplate.com, fastfoodfacts.com, and other nutrition info sites… Still not coming up with anything… Can anyone help?? Thanks!
I didn’t think about the store having to have the info now. I know their website is rather bogus with the nutrition information found on it.

As for the Pizza Hut website, these are 2 different places, so the pizza hut website will not help with the pizza inn information. Thanks!

A: Try www.healthydiningfinder.com or go to Pizza Inn’s website if they have one. If they don’t, call the restaurant. They have to provide you with the information. It’s the law to have that information available to customers.

Q: Taco Cabana Nutritional Information – Pupusa?
I’m looking for the nutritional info for their new pupusas – there are a total of 4 – I’m looking for the chicken fajita pupusa. I also need their nutritional info for their chips & queso.

Thanks!!

A: I love Taco Cabana! They are so much better than nasty Taco Bell and Taco Bueno. Here is a link to the company’s official nutrional information site: http://www.tacocabana.com/nutrition/guide.pdf
